ADVISORY BOARD MEETING
April 18, 2001

I. Call to Order
- The meeting was called to order at 3:30 p.m.
at City Hall, by Diane Geese.
II. Old Business
- The March 2001 minutes were accepted with
minor changes.
- Letters of appreciation will be sent to Jill
Benson and Bob DeVries for their service to
HTC.
- The board is currently waiting for a
response regarding the Seventeen
article.
- Black River School was contacted regarding
their participation in the Teen Court Program.
Principal, Dave Angerer, or another
representative from Black River School,
will try to attend our next Board Meeting.
- Contact with West Ottawa High School is on
hold until the extent of Black River School's
involvement is known.
- The last Session went quite well. Holland
handled four cases, and had a “debriefing”
afterwards.
III. New Business
- A committee was formed with the purpose of
writing a letter to Soren Wolff. The letter
will propose funding for a “Teen-Court
Coordinator”, and most likely provide a job
description.
- Zeeland will take the one new session, which
is tentatively set for 8:00am-9:30am on May 1,
2001 at the Fillmore Complex, Courtroom C.
- Al Ros has joined the Teen-Court Advisory
Board as a representative from the Holland
Police Department.
- Because of the Tulip Time festivities, the
next board meeting has been re-scheduled for
May 9, 2001.
IV. Member Announcements

- The
next meeting is scheduled for May 9 2001, at
3:30 p.m. at City Hall, 270 South River
Avenue, Holland, Michigan. Please contact
Human Relations Office at (616) 355-1328 May
8, 2001 if you are unable to attend.
