I.     Call To Order

• The meeting was called to order at 3:45 pm at City Hall, 270 South River Avenue, Holland, Michigan by Mark Geister.
• Appreciation was expressed for Josh Wise’s involvement on the board and for his hard work as Assistant Teen Court Program Coordinator, Webmaster and Recorder. Josh will be graduating this year and, because of his commitments for the summer, will be ending his term with Teen Court. He will be greatly missed.
• Robin Rett was introduced and will be the Teen Court Program Coordinator. She will also be assuming Josh Wise's duties as Recorder.
• Mike Kersman agreed to assume Josh's role as Webmaster and will be responsible for including each month's Board Meeting Minutes on the Teen Court web site.

II.     Unfinished Business

• Discussion was held regarding minimum guidelines for jury members. Some criteria mentioned involved age minimum, class standards, National Honor Society membership. Consensus was reached that no minimum would be required.

III.     New Business

• Discussion was held regarding the cost of veneer to replace a table damaged in Court Room B at a court session in April. Mark and Melissa spoke with their students and did not identify a student or students responsible for the damage.
• The next court session will be held on May 22, 2002 at 9:00 AM in Court Room B at the Filmore Complex. The Jury will be provided by Holland Christian High School.
• New representatives are needed for Holland High School and for Zeeland High School.
• Recognition of Holland High School jury members will be given at awards assembly.
• Summer Teen Court list (including phone numbers) is needed for jury selection.
